Rules
DHS PTSA TALENT SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Acts requiring more than 12 FEET of ceiling height will not be allowed.
2. Acts will be allotted no more than FOUR (4) MINUTES to perform.
3. Acts will be PENALIZED if time is exceeded.
4. Acts MUST contain at least one (1) currently/formerly-enrolled DHS student or staff member.
5. Participants may only perform ONE (1) time during the show. Any participant who participates in more than one (1) performance will disqualify BOTH acts.
6. NO PROFANITY or VULGAR LYRICS in ANY vocal performance or dance music.
7. NO NUDITY or revealing clothing ALLOWED! Keep attire at a RESPECTABLE and TASTEFUL level .
8. NO alcohol, tobacco, or drug advertisements are to be shown on any clothing.
9. NO pyrotechnics, open flames, or any other dangerous additions.
10. A Sound Technician and microphone(s) will be provided. Acts MUST provide their own recorded music, instruments props, etc., if needed. Recorded music MUST be on a CD or USB flash drive in acceptable format (i.e. MP3 or WAV file). Music will be reviewed.
11. EVERY participant MUST attend all rehearsals. Acts requiring recorded music MUST bring it to rehearsal. NO changes to music selection will be accepted after the 1st rehearsal!
